September 2000
In September, we were finally settled (for the most part, even as I write this in November there's still work to be done around the house to finish moving in) and had more time to actually photograph the baby. I borrowed a digital camera (a Sony Cybershot) from someone and took the pictures here. Note the "Swimmin!" picture below. Jack still isn't crawling at this point but he does this funny thing where he gets his chest and belly off the floor by pushing up with his arms and leaving his legs flat on the floor. Then he collapses down into the position in this picture. It's literally the opposite of crawling: belly on the floor, arms and legs in the air. Very silly.
